Pink Programming is a non-profit organization that organizes code events for the female, transgender, and non-binary communities. Together we can make the joy of programming available to everyone!
INFORMATION ABOUT CHANGES RELATED TO COVID-19
Due to Covid-19, Pink Programming chooses to make the following adjustments regarding the organization’s activities and events:
Planned Pink Programming Sundays in all cities have been converted to Digital Sundays and will be run online until further notice.
Pink Programming’s intensive course PinkWebDev was partially converted to online and ended in June 2020.
Pink Programming summer camp will be held during July and August 2020 and converted to online.
Pink Programming’s Social Events in all cities are canceled and no new ones are planned for the time being.
The situation is evaluated on an ongoing basis, and if necessary, our guidelines will be updated. Discussions are being held about whether we can open up for physical events in the future with fewer participants and further measures for infection control.
We organize events like Sunday coding, workshops and courses in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, and also camps on multiple locations in Sweden.
Pink Programming is a volunteer driven organization with the goal to increase the number of female programmers! We want to create an inspiring environment, where girls and women who are interested in programming can have fun and feel at home while they learn to code, or build on existing skills. We also want to highlight the female role models of today. Because of this, all our teachers and inspirational speakers are women who work as developers themselves. Pink Programming turns to both experienced developers and total beginners.
