We’re looking for new board members, is it you?

We are accepting applications for the board of Pink Programming

Looking for a way to contribute to changing the IT sector? Applications to the boar of Pink Programming are now open!.

Pink Programming is a volunteer driven organisation with the goal to increase the number of female and non-binary programmers. We create coding events together with companies that share our goal. The target audience for our events are girls, aunts, ladies, cis, trans and those who do not identify themselves as women but because of gender identity does not feel represented among programmers.

Our board lays out the plans and strategic decisions of the organisation that will enrich our vision. We pride ourselves on making the work we do fun and meaningful. Sharing knowledge, encouraging and supporting each other is what keeps our gears running.

Being a board member is a non-profit assignment that requires participation for MINIMUM 3-5 hours per week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. As part of the board you have a lot of responsibility.

Board meetings are held online monthly and physically (when circumstances allow) 3-4 times a year. An annual meeting is held at the beginning of the year.

We do appreciate applicants who have strong ties with the industry and have existing knowledge of board work. We are looking for women, non-binary and transgenders from diverse backgrounds of culture, ethnicity, age, professional experience and education. The board strives to be representative of the diverse members in the organisation.

Please apply before January 18th, 2022. Through the links below.

The secretary role requires somewhat fluency in written Swedish for administrative tasks that can only be handled in Swedish.
