After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics, Asmae went on to pursue a master’s degree with focus on IT security. Today, she’s working with data security at Axis Communication in Lund.

For Andrea, programming wasn’t always the given choice. As a creative person with a background in language, she thought she was “too stipid” to be a developer. Today, she is working as a frontend developer – and is also a code mentor at Pink Programming.
Pink Programming Sunday goes Digital! Yesterday we hosted our first Pink Programming Digital Sunday online - Pink volunteers from all of our citites put their joint effort together to organize it. The event was broadcast from The Ground in Malmö.
In times like these when we are practising social distancing, online communities are more important than ever. We have therefore created a Facebook group for us all to connect - Pink Programming Community!
In regards to the corona virus (Covid-19), Pink Programming has decided to cancel all physical events until 30th June.
On the road to diversifying the IT industry, we tend to focus a lot on the work we still have to do. How do we get more women to code? Why is the interest for higher education in data science decreasing in Sweden amongst female students? How can companies attract female applicants? We have a long way to go, but with Pink Portrait, we want to put a face on the women and non-binary in the industry.
Another exciting, packed Pink year has begun! We summarize the year and look forward to the next with the help of our volunteers' stories about their favorite memories from last year, and what they are most looking forward to in 2020.
After an amazing camp summer, we couldn’t possibly end the year without another camp. The 5-8th of December, we are organizing Christmas Coding Camp in a cozy house in Swedish Klippan, for both experienced coders and beginners!

As a proudly failed entrepreneur in a previous role, I feel like I have landed on two feet at iZettle and I feel fulfilled and strong. But this only makes up some of the meaning I am searching for. There is so much more!
