Pink programming Sundays

Brighten your Sunday and program with us!
At Pink Programming Sundays, we meet to program and spend time together. On most events, we have free choice coding, where you can choose which programming language to use and what to work with. For those who want, we recommend tutorials and small assignments. Other Sundays, we have some workshop or activity together with our sponsors. It could be anything from robot programming and web design to truck driving.

Common to all occasions are that you don’t need any previous knowledge, that the events are totally free and that lunch is included! The only demand is that you bring your own laptop and are open to learn something new. Pink Programming Sundays are organized in both Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö about once a month. Our Sundays are very popular so make sure to sign up in time – the number of spots is limited and first come, first served is applied.

pink programming Camps

Summer Camps Online

Since you cannot make it to us and our cabin this summer, we are coming TO YOU! Yes, that is correct. We’re bringing our beloved camps online!

Let’s make this precious period of the year a time to learn world-changing skills — we will bring to you C# for beginners, Java for beginners, Intro to Machine Learning for intermediate developers, and Javascript for intermediate developers!

Fun and enrichment are the absolute MUSTS; so you can expect cook-a-longs, yoga, dance classes, intensive programming to one-on-one mentoring! What’s more: it will be a space to make friends with fellow participants from across the country and, very possibly, all over the world!

Tickets will be released on Friday May 29 at 11.59!

Here’s to the start of a great summer camp season, thanks to our sponsors and partners: Sigma IT Group, B3 Consulting Group, Axis Communications and IT-Högskolan!

Our camps are always very popular, so make sure to set your alarm so you do not miss out on those tickets!

How to attract female developers

How do you attract female developers to your company? And how do you create a workspace where everybody can thrive, no matter their gender, age, interests or background?

After coding with thousands of women around the country, we want to share our insights about what female coders seek in their work life through a workshop. We will share our insights from the meetings and surveys we have conducted within our network. After the workshop you’ll know how to create an inclusive work environment and where to reach out to female developers, and you’ll be an expert at writing appealing job ads!

The seats for our first pilot for this workshop sold out within a few days, and we already have a big interest for our next workshop session. Are you interested in joining? Sign up here and we will contact you when we release the tickets!

PinkWebDev is soon back on track!

In the spring of 2017, Pink Programming carried out a pilot project in Malmö, PinkWebDev, which was a 12-week programming course where lessons were interspersed with company visits and matchmaking. The pilot project was a great success with great interest from both participants and companies. Pink Programming will now start the course again with support from Malmö Stad and powered by Beetroot Academy.

The course is aimed at those who are beginners (no or almost no programming experience) who want to change their careers and start working as a developer. After the course, you will have enough knowledge to be able to take on a position as a junior developer or an internship.

The course will start in 2020. Information on how to register will be shared on our website and social media channels soon!.

If you have any questions about the project, contact project manager Tshepiso Lehutjo at
