Do you want to become a developer in 16 weeks? Don’t want to quit your job while you’re studying? Well, this might just be the right option for you! After the great success of PinkWebDev’s first edition in 2017, we’re now launching the course again, with support from Malmö Stad.
The aim of the course is to prepare you as a participant in the work as a junior developer. Through the collaboration with Pink Programming and Beetroot Academy, you will learn programming and techniques that are in line with the needs of the industry.
The course will take place at Malmö’s buzzing startup hub The Ground, with some of the most innovative tech companies in the region! All teachers are women who work in the tech industry.
This round it will be an intense but fulfilling 16-week course with an evening class during the week and day class on Saturdays in Malmö. During the lessons of 4 hours each, all participants work with exercises and get help from code mentors. We’ll also have free delicious meals together!
Some of the lectures will be held at local companies to show how the technologies are used in practice. We’ll also have a final networking mingle.
All course content is available online for registered participants so you can go through everything at home at your own pace, and get help with the most difficult tasks during the lessons.
The course is aimed at those who are beginners (no or almost no programming experience) who want to change their careers and start working as a developer. After the course, you will have enough knowledge to be able to take on a position as a junior developer or an internship.
