Pink Programming moves to Media Evolution City and expands the team!

After almost 2 years at Minc, Pink Programming is now moving its headquarters to Media Evolution City in Malmö. The vibrant community platform for digital industries, Media Evolution, fosters innovation through collaboration and knowledge sharing, making it the perfect spot for Pink Programming taking the organization to the next level.

– We are really happy, and honestly a little honored, that Pink Programming now moves to Media Evolution and thus more actively will participate and share their unique competence and activities with the many people who touch our common circles, Magnus Thure Nilsson, CEO Media Evolution.

In addition, the organization is now strengthening the core team with an event coordinator, Lisa Smeke – becoming an office of 3 employees, working with nearly hundred volunteers and 20 partners across the country.

Being Sweden’s biggest community for programmers who are women and non-binary, the team addition together with the strategic move to Media Evolution, enables the organization to further develop their core business, strengthening the community, and continuing the work for changing the narrative of who can and should be a programmer.

Upcoming this summer, Pink Programming is arranging two coding camps targeting both beginners and intermediates to delve into the world of programming.
